Sensor based sorting series OSX

The main advantage of the OSX system is connected with its universality and at the same time very sophisticated image processing functions. The use of recently developed sophisticated commercial software makes it very competitive compared to systems that has been on the market for a long time.

The OSX unit can be supplied with different configurations and sizes depending on thecustomers’ needs and process requirements.

Configuration OSX-BF

In this configuration, the feed material is provided by the transport belt (Belt Feeding). The particles are introduced to the separation zone with very stable trajectories and without any rotation or disturbances. This gives a precise image analysis and a high separation efficiency for all material sizes.

Configuration OSX-FF

In this configuration, the feed material is provided directly by the vibrating feeder and the particles are in free fall (Free Fall). This configuration gives very compact sorting unit, however, it provides less accurate separation, due to some accidental collisions among the particles and constant acceleration during free fall.  This configuration is more recommended for coarser particles over 50-60 mm.
